On a pleasant walking tour, we will explore the most iconic sites in the historic centre. We will start at the lively Plaza del Salvador, a meeting point for locals and travellers alike, surrounded by bars and buildings steeped in history. From there, we will head to the impressive Seville Cathedral, one of the largest in the world, built on the site of an old mosque and crowned by the iconic Giralda, which combines Islamic and Christian heritage.

A few steps away stands the majestic Real Alcázar of Seville, a fortified palace that has been in use for over a thousand years and is the official residence of the kings of Spain when they visit the city. This architectural complex is a jewel of Mudejar art, with sumptuous halls, dreamlike courtyards and gardens that seem to have come straight out of an oriental fairy tale. During the visit, you will learn about its history, legends and some interesting facts that have made it the setting for series such as Game of Thrones.
We will also visit the majestic Royal Tobacco Factory, now home to the University of Seville, which was once one of the most important factories in Europe. There we will learn about the history of the cigar makers, working women who led some of the country’s first trade union struggles, challenging traditional roles and leaving a deep mark on the social memory of the city. Their legacy even inspired universal works such as Bizet’s opera Carmen.
We will end the tour at the monumental Plaza de España, a masterpiece of Andalusian regionalism created for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, surrounded by a navigable canal and decorated with tiles representing all the provinces of Spain.
A complete route to admire the beauty of Seville and understand the soul of a city where history, art and everyday life intertwine at every turn.
